Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Castle Guide to join our team at Skipton Castle. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge of history with visitors from around the world.

About the Job:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering guided tours of Skipton Castle, sharing the castle's rich history and engaging with visitors in a friendly and approachable manner. You will also be required to maintain a strong presence at the castle, ensuring that visitors have a positive experience.

Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver high-quality guided tours of Skipton Castle.
  2. Interact with visitors in a welcoming and informative way.
  3. Maintain a strong presence at the castle.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Passion for history and a desire to share it with others.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach to working hours.

Salary and Benefits:
£12 per hour (pro rata) plus benefits.
