Cytel EMEA - Senior Clinical Coder Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Coder to join our team in the EMEA region. As a key member of our Clinical Data Management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality coding deliverables.

As a Senior Clinical Coder, you will be responsible for accurately coding medical terms and medications utilizing industry-wide standards. You will also review coded terms for accuracy and consistency, addressing any discrepancies or inconsistencies. Additionally, you will produce coding reports for team review and utilization.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related discipline, along with 1-2 years of progressive hands-on experience in Clinical Data Management (coding group) or Clinical Research. You should be proficient in at least one prevalent coding tool, such as Medidata Rave Coder or Merative Zelta Coder, and have experience working with clinical trials or within the pharmaceutical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to SOPs and maintain audit-ready documentation.
  • Provide clinical coding support across multiple therapeutic areas.
  • Be accountable for the quality, traceability, reproducibility, and timeliness of coding deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain coding conventions for specific protocols or programs.

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
