Skilled Careers seeks an experienced Electrician to join our maintenance team in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your skills and knowledge to ensure the highest standards of maintenance and repair for our social housing properties.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on social housing properties.
- Address maintenance requests from tenants and property managers promptly.
- Evaluate work performance and quality standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify areas requiring maintenance or repair.
- Collaborate effectively with other maintenance team members and contractors.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary of £20.67 per hour (approximately £42,980 per year).
- Full-time, 40-hour schedule.
- Van and fuel card provided for job-related travel.
- Overtime pay for Saturday (time and a half) and Sunday (double time) work.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a maintenance Electrician.
- Exceptional electrical skills, including ability to perform other wet trades maintenance repairs.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience working in social housing or similar environments.
- NVQ L3 Certification 2391: Test and Inspection.
- 18th Edition (preferred).
- Valid driver's licence.
