Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Dispensing Optician to join our team at Boots Opticians. As a key member of our Optical department, you will provide exceptional customer care and expert advice to make a real difference to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  1. Clinical Support: Provide high-level support in-store for regulated dispensing, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
  2. Team Collaboration: Inspire your Optical team by sharing knowledge and expertise, promoting exceptional service delivery.
  3. Customer Advice: Listen to customers' needs and offer expert guidance, helping them choose the correct eyewear and receive the best product suited to their requirements.
  4. Operational Efficiency: Support the team to deliver an efficient business model and operational processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Specialist Knowledge: Provide expert knowledge for patients with more specialist requirements, leveraging your clinical skills and experience.
Requirements:
  1. Registration with the General Optical Council (GOC).
  2. Possession of a passion for learning and development, completing all CPD training as part of the GOC requirement.
Preferred Skills:
  1. Able to adapt quickly to new technology and systems.
