Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Prototype Battery Build Specialist to join our team at Gobel and Partner Ltd. as a Build & Assembly Technician.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a major EV Battery prototype project based on-site at a leading automotive manufacturer in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on live batteries and provide high-quality service to our clients.
  • Collaborate with a team of skilled technicians to build and test Electric Vehicle batteries.
  • Ensure adherence to set processes and procedures.
  • Conduct electrical continuity checks and use multimeters and test instrumentation with confidence.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to the team.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working as a Build Technician, Vehicle Technician, Electrician, Engineer, EV Technician, or similar.
  • Level 3 qualification in an EV or Electrical based qualification (Domestic electrician 18th Edition qualifications can be suitable).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical continuity and ability to work with multimeters and test instrumentation.
  • AP / SAP (Senior Authorised Person) Approved is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work in an automotive environment and follow set processes.
