Job Title: Project Scheduler/Controller



Job Summary:



The successful candidate will work with high performing multifunctional teams on cutting edge technology contributing to global security. The scheduler will provide project planning, risk management and cost control support to development engineering, production teams and senior management.



Key Responsibilities:



The successful candidate will be responsible for:





  • Providing project planning, risk management, and cost control support to development engineering, production teams, and senior management

  • Generating metrics, cost reports, and variance analysis information to support programme decision making

  • Guiding teams in the use of project management processes

  • Developing Programme Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Organisational Breakdown Structures (OBS)

  • Supporting Bid and Proposal activities through the collation and transfer of Basis of Estimates into the Pricing Team



Requirements:



The successful candidate will have:





  • Demonstrated knowledge of working in a Project/Programme Control environment

  • Experience of Microsoft Project 2010/2013

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Ability to work with diverse project teams and stakeholders

  • Commercial/Business awareness in a complex projects environment
