Veterinary Surgeon - Huddersfield

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Huddersfield. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver exceptional patient care and treatment, working closely with our veterinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  2. Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans, taking into account the individual needs of each patient.
  3. Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe working environment, adhering to our high standards of hygiene and animal welfare.
  4. Collaborate with our veterinary team to provide excellent customer service, responding to client queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest veterinary knowledge and techniques, participating in ongoing professional development and training.

The Package:

  1. Competitive salary up to £75,000, depending on experience.
  2. 21.5 days annual leave plus bank holidays, worked out on a 4-day working week.
  3. CPD budget of £3,000 over 2 years, with certificates supported and funded.
  4. Professional fees for RCVS, BSAVA, and BVA paid.
  5. Visas sponsored.
  6. Car and accommodation available if needed.

We are a multi-centre mixed practice with 36 vets and 7 surgeries across Huddersfield and South Halifax. Our state-of-the-art hospital provides high-standard first opinion care with referral-standard equipment.
