Nursery Role Overview
We are seeking a part-time, Level 2/3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our Bright Horizons Richmond Nursery team. This role involves working 25 hours, from 1pm-6pm, Monday to Friday.
About the Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities for children, observing and tracking their learning, and developing strong parent/carer partnerships. You will also promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging activities for children
- Observe and track children's learning
- Develop and maintain strong parent/carer partnerships
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding procedures
Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working with children
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children
