Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work on our Elective Orthopaedic ward, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with Level 1 or 2 qualifications, who is willing to undergo training as necessary. You should also have knowledge of current issues in healthcare and standards of professional practice.

In this role, you will provide high-quality patient-focused care, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients, and maintain accurate written records. You will also promote positive relationships between staff involved in patient care and act in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council Code of Conduct.

A generous salary of £30,401 per annum (based on a 37-hour week) is offered, along with a range of benefits including access to the NHS Pension Scheme, 27 days holiday, and a relocation package of up to 30% of salary (capped at £18k) to support with relocation expenses.
