We are seeking a skilled Bar Staff to join our weekend team at Monk Bar Matlock. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience for our valued patrons.

Salary: Up to £11.44 per hour

Job Description:

  1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Take orders and serve drinks to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to the highest standards.
  4. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times.
  5. Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register with accuracy and efficiency.
  6. Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service at all times.
  7. Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
  8. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth bar operations and meet the needs of our customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of basic math for cash handling purposes.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent hospitality skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
