Corporate Governance Assistant

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Governance Assistant to join its team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for corporate governance and a desire to work in a dynamic and ambitious law firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and handle board meetings, including agendas, minutes, and resolutions
  • Provide expert advice on corporate governance matters, including the incorporation of companies
  • Assist with updating statutory registers and filing documents with Companies House
  • Support due diligence efforts and manage data rooms for corporate transactions
  • Conduct company and completion searches
  • Provide advice and support to property management companies, including assistance with handovers
  • Assist team members with research on current developments in corporate governance

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate will be CGI-qualified or part-qualified
  • Proven experience in a company secretarial or corporate governance role
  • Experience within professional services, ideally within the law
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • A proactive and problem-solving approach
