Job Overview

This is an exciting role that involves taking responsibility for a new team of Production Workers on-site, while establishing robust systems to achieve world-class manufacturing and operational excellence. You will be responsible for leading and developing multi-function production workers across manufacturing operations within the business.

This position offers a unique blend of leadership and technical skills, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to transfer knowledge and experience from other or similar industries.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is circa £50,000 per annum, with a bonus up to 10% and pension matched up to 10% company contribution. Additionally, the company provides a comprehensive benefits package, including a cycle to work scheme, accredited training, and extensive career development opportunities such as ILM, Nebosh, and Lean/Six Sigma training.

What's more, you will enjoy a day shift only from 6am to 6pm, after a short period of Monday to Friday 6-2:30pm training. This presents an excellent work-life balance opportunity for individuals seeking a stable and fulfilling career.

Key Responsibilities
  • To lead and develop a team of multi-function production workers across manufacturing operations within a market-leading and multi-site manufacturing business.
  • To establish robust systems working towards world-class manufacturing and operational excellence.
  • To take responsibility for a new team of Production Workers on-site.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable managerial experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrable organisational skills including efficient planning and implementation of systems and procedures, HSE – Health and Safety, Quality Systems, Lean Manufacturing – 5s, etc.
  • Leadership and people management skills and the ability to build, motivate, develop and improve the team.
