Job Title: Frontline Advisor - Temporary
Job Summary:
The Frontline Advisor provides advice and support to individuals and communities in need, helping them to solve their problems and improve their lives. This is a temporary role, working 35 hours per week in Portsmouth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and support to clients on a range of social welfare matters, including debt, welfare benefits, housing, and employment.
- Build trusting relationships with clients and deliver tailored support to help them achieve their goals.
- Work closely with other organizations and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and policies, and apply this knowledge to inform advice and support.
- Contribute to the development of new initiatives and programs to improve services and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and policies in at least one area of debt, welfare benefits, housing, or employment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
- Experience of working in a similar role or sector, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing individuals and communities.
