We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team as a key member. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
Job Responsibilities
The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing first-point-of-contact care to patients presenting with a variety of clinical problems. This will involve conducting physical assessments, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications as necessary.
Additionally, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to enhance their knowledge of chronic disease management, undertake domiciliary visits, and conduct disease prevention assessments.
Person Specification
To be successful in this role, candidates will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Registration with the NMC as a Level 1 nurse
- Evidence of ongoing learning and professional development
- Degree or MSc in Advanced Practice or credentialing through recognised courses by the NMC
- Physical assessment and clinical reasoning skills
- Non-medical prescribing qualification
