Key Responsibilities
- Manage all sales matters related to the Area, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Guide, coach, and instruct the Area sales team to achieve sales targets and improve business performance.
- Monitor customer performance and take action to improve business where needed, staying aware of competition activity and market developments.
- Adhere to the principles of the Commercial Blueprint and CXS projects, participating in and supporting Global and Regional sales projects.
- Review customer survey results and implement measures to improve customer satisfaction together with other relevant departments.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with senior customer contacts, promoting the usage of new and existing products offered by Hapag-Lloyd.
- Liaise with the sales management teams in other Areas and collaborate with the management teams in other departments to improve customer experience.
Requirements
- University degree or at least 5 years experience leading commercial teams, preferably in the maritime industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical skills, and keen ability to organise, review data accuracy, identify root causes, and develop ideas resulting in stronger business performance.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, good knowledge of HL's systems and processes.
