Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Lead to join our team at Hypercube Talent. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our business and customers.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fast-growing start-up, shaping the future of our data and analytics capabilities. You will work closely with our product team to understand requirements and design effective data solutions, leveraging open-source and cloud platform technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop a robust data platform to support analytics, AI, and machine learning workflows
  • Collaborate with developers, managers, and business stakeholders to understand and define components of the data landscape
  • Translate end-user requirements into designs and delivery plans for effective data and analytics solutions
  • Input into and close collaboration with the emerging MLOps and ML Engineering practices
  • Produce high-quality communications, documentation, and presentations of solutions for colleagues and customers

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Kafka, Python, SQL, Databricks, and cloud platform architecture in AWS
  • Additional experience with infrastructure-as-code, orchestration tools, containers, and related services is beneficial
  • Strong stakeholder management, analysis/requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation of technology solutions
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to translate complex technical subject matter into easily understood presentations and written documentation
