We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Advisor to join our team at Sofa, a leading home furnishings retailer. As a Sales Advisor, you will be the first point of contact with our customers, providing them with inspirational ideas to fulfill their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Welcome every customer so they feel at home and relaxed, while encouraging them to spend time in the store and browse the full range.
  • Showroom Standards: Maintain our high showroom standards and visual merchandising in store.
  • Product Knowledge: Provide customers with advice and support, ensuring a full understanding of their needs and working to find solutions within the range offered.
  • Order Processing: Chase sales quotations and process orders precisely and efficiently, as well as keeping customer information records up-to-date.
  • Brand Ambassador: Be a brand ambassador for Sofa, while embracing the customer journey and leading by example in endorsing the company culture and standards.
  • Product Knowledge: Proactively improve and update knowledge of product & interior trends.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience within retail alongside proven experience with interiors/furniture.
  • Sales Experience: Strong sales experience and awareness of trends to support the customer in styling their rooms/homes.
  • Personal Qualities: Be ambitious and confident, with a strong can-do attitude.
  • Customer Service: Be enthusiastic and dedicated to providing excellent customer service.
  • Teamwork: A desire to work as part of a team to generate fresh and innovative ideas.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and general IT.
