Job Description

The role of the Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for maximising Lifting hire revenue opportunities from our existing major account customer. This will include carrying out inspections across multiple sites and providing the customer with solutions for the replacement or repair of failed/damaged equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a lifting equipment specialist looking to take their career to the next level in a varied 360-degree role, or a technically-minded, hands-on professional with experience in the lifting industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out site inspections to identify revenue opportunities
  • Providing customers with solutions for replacement or repair of failed/damaged equipment
  • Building strong relationships with customers to increase revenue
  • Working effectively under pressure to meet targets and deadlines
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience working in a sales or engineering role within the lifting industry
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • An effective negotiator and problem solver with the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Proficient in MS Office packages including Excel and Word, and CRM systems
  • A valid driving licence
