Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher or Tutor to join our team in Wandsworth, London. As a SEN Tutor, you will work closely with our learners, providing tailored education support and mentoring to help them achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-to-one tuition and mentoring to learners with SEN, including ASD/ASC, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Develop and implement effective education plans, tailored to each learner's needs
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure consistency and quality of education
  • Communicate effectively with learners, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless support
  • Contribute to the development of our education programs and services

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or strong youth work experience/qualification
  • Minimum 2 years teaching or mentoring learners with SEND in schools, youth groups, or private settings
  • Enhanced DBS on the DBS Update system or willingness to have one carried out at a cost of £53.20
  • Commitment to the overall academic development of learners, including working to re-engage them in learning
  • Ability to travel to Wandsworth, London
  • Secure understanding of safeguarding
