Counterbalance Expert

Forklift Driver Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to work at The HireWorks Ltd, based in Mildenhal. The successful candidate will have previous experience operating a counter balance forklift and a strong focus on safety. Estimated salary: £29,000 - £33,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, managing warehouse inventory and maintaining a high level of productivity.
• Manage yard organization and coordinate the loading and unloading of lorries.
• Packaging finished parts with care and attention to detail, ensuring they are ready for dispatch.
• Maintain the store area and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, reporting any incidents or hazards.

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating a forklift.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Happiness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
