About the Role
M&D Care is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our Residential Support Service team. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in leading the staff team and providing person-centered care to our service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the staff team in providing high-quality care and support to service users with mental health, Autism, and Learning Disabilities.
- Advocate for service users and ensure their needs are met.
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the Registered Manager and other healthcare professionals.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent care.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the service is running efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- QCF level 3 qualification or equivalent in a related field.
- Proven experience in care, with a minimum of 1 year in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of equal opportunities and how they impact employees and service users.
