Davies is seeking a skilled Liability Loss Adjuster to enhance our expanding Casualty division. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Casualty Adjuster or investigator looking for a new challenge, who is driven and capable of acquiring the necessary expertise and knowledge.

This position is home-based, requiring travel across Scotland to manage caseloads effectively.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Insurers, Policyholders, and Brokers
  • Conduct thorough investigations of assigned claims, both in the field and remotely
  • Gather and compile all essential evidence and pertinent documentation
  • Draft Preliminary Reports that outline the available evidence and provide insights on Policy Indemnity, Legal Liability, Quantum, and Strategies
  • Identify suitable actions for case resolution
  • Negotiate settlements or defend claims as appropriate, within established authority limits
  • Maintain professional correspondence with all parties to ensure timely progression of cases
  • Handle all cases in accordance with client requirements and documented procedures
  • Regularly review and maintain proper reserves
  • Stay informed on relevant technical changes and participate in company-facilitated training programs
  • Fulfill any reasonable instructions from your line manager in alignment with business needs
