Davies is seeking a skilled Liability Loss Adjuster to enhance our expanding Casualty division. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Casualty Adjuster or investigator looking for a new challenge, who is driven and capable of acquiring the necessary expertise and knowledge.
This position is home-based, requiring travel across Scotland to manage caseloads effectively.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with Insurers, Policyholders, and Brokers
- Conduct thorough investigations of assigned claims, both in the field and remotely
- Gather and compile all essential evidence and pertinent documentation
- Draft Preliminary Reports that outline the available evidence and provide insights on Policy Indemnity, Legal Liability, Quantum, and Strategies
- Identify suitable actions for case resolution
- Negotiate settlements or defend claims as appropriate, within established authority limits
- Maintain professional correspondence with all parties to ensure timely progression of cases
- Handle all cases in accordance with client requirements and documented procedures
- Regularly review and maintain proper reserves
- Stay informed on relevant technical changes and participate in company-facilitated training programs
- Fulfill any reasonable instructions from your line manager in alignment with business needs
