Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Forces Recruitment Solutions Group Ltd seeks a highly skilled Instrument Technician to join their global maritime and industrial equipment hire team.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting various instruments and equipment, utilizing mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix issues efficiently. They will interpret and follow schematics for accurate repairs and installations.
A minimum level 3 in electronics, mechatronics or similar is required. Previous experience maintaining electronic instruments, strong communication, teamwork, customer service, time management, and fault-finding skills are essential. A UK driving licence and passport are also necessary due to occasional travel.
Main Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment.
- Maintain excellent customer service while addressing technical concerns.
- Adhere to maintenance schedules ensuring equipment functionality.
Required:
- Minimum level 3 in electronics, mechatronics or similar.
- Previous experience maintaining electronic instruments.
- Strong communication, teamwork, customer service, time management, and fault-finding skills.
- UK driving licence.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience working with seismic systems.
£37,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including pension, parking, private medical insurance, and equipment training.
