At Peabody, we are seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Professional to join our team. This role will play a vital part in the operational delivery of our repairs, maintenance, and property services.
The ideal candidate will have experience of building surveying and maintenance within a Housing Association or Local Authority, with the ability to step up to a more advanced level. Knowledge of Schedule of Rates and methods of measurement is essential, as well as a focus on achieving Value for Money.
This role offers a challenging opportunity to support the Building Surveyors with operational delivery matters, assisting in the management of contractors and ensuring they deliver in accordance with their contract and KPIs. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting the development of repair plans and schedules, ensuring that work is carried out efficiently and effectively.
A UK driver's licence is required for this role. We offer a range of benefits, including 30 days' annual holiday plus bank holidays, two additional paid volunteering days each year, and a flexible benefits scheme.
