Dedicated Year 2 Educator for a Thriving Learning Environment

We are seeking a dedicated educator for a Year 2 role at a school that prides itself on a rich tapestry of cultures making diversity a cornerstone of its community. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 2 students.
- Implement appropriate teaching strategies to engage and inspire students.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behaviour and positive relationships.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Year 2 students in a primary school setting.
- Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
