At Connect Plus Services, we are committed to delivering high-quality services that prioritize road safety. As a Network Safety Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring our network meets the highest safety standards.

Your responsibilities will include conducting regular inspections, identifying potential safety hazards, and recommending effective mitigation measures. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including National Highways, depot teams and local communities, to promote a culture of safety and implement best practices.

This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 60% of your time to be spent at CPS offices. We offer an attractive package, including an estimated salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety Compliance: Conduct thorough inspections of highways, roads and related infrastructure to ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards and policies.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential safety hazards, assess risks and recommend effective mitigation measures to prevent accidents and enhance overall safety.
  • Quality Assurance: Evaluate maintenance activities to ensure they meet established safety standards and specifications, providing timely feedback to project teams.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyse data related to road safety, contributing to the development of comprehensive safety strategies.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with various stakeholders including National Highways, depot teams and local communities to promote a culture of safety and implement best practices.

Requirements:

  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • Previous experience of working in a highway maintenance contract
  • Knowledge and experience of highway & Motorway defects
  • Knowledge of highway construction and repair requirements
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • CSCS site visitor card
  • City & Guilds 6033 – Highway Inspection (preferable) or equivalent.
