About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including washing, toileting, and helping with eating and drinking.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any concerns to registered practitioners.
  • Assist with daily tasks and responsibilities, including maintaining a safe and clean clinical environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Contribute to the overall assessment of patients by measuring and recording vital signs and other relevant information.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Maths and English skills equivalent to Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Experience of working within a team and caring for patients in an acute setting.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English in writing, via IT, verbally, and using the telephone.
