Key Responsibilities:

As a Deputy Headteacher at Chulmleigh College, you will work closely with the Executive Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to drive the school's strategic vision and promote a culture of excellence. Your key responsibilities will include:

Leadership and Management:

  • Collaborating with the Executive Headteacher and SLT to create a shared vision for the college
  • Maintaining a whole-school timetable and overseeing data and assessment
  • Leading the curriculum and teaching and learning
  • Line managing the Curriculum Leads

Key Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record as a senior leader in a secondary school, with a clear vision for driving improvement and a commitment to excellence. You will also need to demonstrate empathy, resilience, and strong communication skills, as well as a passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our students.
