The Role: HGV Class 1 Driver
We are seeking experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team in Bridgwater. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable company that values its employees and offers a supportive working environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles for the transportation of goods.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant road traffic regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle records.
- Load and unload cargo securely, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication throughout the delivery process.
Requirements:
- Full UK C+E Licence.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles is preferred.
- Knowledge of load security procedures.
- Clean driving record and commitment to safety.
