Job Opportunity: CFO for PE-Backed International SaaS Business

Marks Sattin Executive is collaborating with a privately-owned, PE-backed international software business that has experienced exceptional growth and is now seeking an ambitious CFO to join their team. As CFO, you will be a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, driving financial planning, analysis, and decision-making to support the company's ambitious growth objectives via an M&A strategy, ultimately steering the business towards a successful exit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand revenue and cost drivers, and optimise performance.
  • Commercialise the business by introducing key performance indicators and strategic metrics.
  • Enhance full board reporting.
  • Work closely with and present to the private equity firm, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the company's expansion.

Requirements:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA).
  • Experience of being a CFO or FD looking to step into a number one role in a PE-Backed business with the Tech/SaaS and/or Related sectors.
  • Track record of defining KPIs, commercialising the business and driving improvements in reporting.
  • Hands-on experience in successfully expanding a business into new and/or adjacent sectors.
  • A high level of motivation, a 'can do' attitude and a willingness to be involved at all levels.

  • A strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Experience in M&A strategy and execution.
  • Ability to work closely with the CEO and executive team to drive business growth.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
