Quarry Manager Job Description

Advanced Resource Managers is working with a leading building products and construction solutions company to find an experienced Quarry Manager based in the Forest of Dean.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with a salary of up to £57,500 per annum, including an 8% company bonus and a company car. The successful candidate will be responsible for running a successful quarry with a team of 11 people, supported by two managers. The quarry is a multi-million pound business, and the successful candidate will be responsible for operations, financials, reporting, safety, and quality across the whole site.

About You

We are looking for someone with significant experience of working within a quarry or related area. You will hold an SHE NVQ Level 4 and either hold or be in the process of obtaining a relevant degree-level qualification. You will have good knowledge of quarry operations, regulations, and H&S requirements, as well as legal requirements. You will also have demonstrable management experience of working with a diverse workforce, driving excellence, and performance.

What You Will Be Doing

This position will see you running a successful quarry, with a team of 11 people, and two managers supporting you. You will be responsible for operations, financials, reporting, safety, and quality across the whole site. You will also be responsible for managing the team, driving excellence, and performance.

Requirements

We can only consider applications from those eligible to work in the UK for this role. The successful candidate will be required to hold a full UK driving licence for this position.
