CAMHS Practitioner Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CAMHS Practitioner to join our team in Kingston. The successful candidate will work closely with our Emotional Health Service to provide high-quality interventions and support to children and families.

The role involves conducting assessments, delivering low to moderate-level interventions, and providing workshops and consultations to school staff. As a qualified mental health professional, you will have experience working with children facing mental health challenges and be familiar with working in a school setting.

We offer a competitive salary range of £43,877 - £51,044 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including 29 days annual leave, local government pension scheme, and flexible working options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality interventions and support to children and families
  • Work collaboratively with the Emotional Health Service team to achieve service goals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with school staff and other stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant degree in mental health or a related field
  • Experience working with children facing mental health challenges
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
