Residential Care Team Leader

**Deputy Manager Role**
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Manager to join our Complex Care service in the South West region.
As a Deputy Manager, you will assist the Registered Manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the statement of purpose, deputise in their absence, and support and manage staff to meet the needs of children and young people.
You will undertake direct work with children and young people, manage child protection concerns and complaints, and work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes.
This role may include working on shift with some weekends and sleep-ins.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Assist the Registered Manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the statement of purpose
• Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager
• Support and manage staff to meet the needs of children and young people
• Undertake direct work with children and young people
• Manage child protection concerns and complaints
• Work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes
**Requirements:**
• Diploma 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
• Working towards or holds a level 5 Diploma leadership and management residential childcare
• Current full driving license
• At least 3 years' experience in Residential children's Care which includes supervisory experience
