About Our Job Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Billing and Collections Analyst to join our team at Page Personnel Sales, working in partnership with a leading Data Centre company.

As a Business Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for a variety of duties including compiling regional billing data for invoicing, ensuring all transactions are properly authorised and processed correctly onto the company's accounting systems. You will have strong billing and cash booking experience and a passion for building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

You will work closely with various internal departments to investigate and resolve billing queries in line with agreed SLAs. This will involve liaising with the treasury team to analyse any variance against receipts versus forecasts, reconciling any variances and being able to explain the differences to the wider finance community.

Your role will also involve submitting credit memos for approval following appropriate company policies, highlighting any contractual terms which are unable to be supported automatically by the billing system. You will work independently with end users and operational leads to fully define and map company processes and procedures, highlighting existing controls, potential risks and current issues.

The successful candidate will be paid £38,800 - £43,600 per annum (depending on experience). We offer flexible working arrangements and a supportive team environment.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in billing and collections or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of standard accounting packages, ideally Financial Force & Oracle
  • Demonstrated ability to operate software applications including MS Word, Excel (Intermediate), and Outlook
  • Flexible and adaptable, self-motivated and a pro-active worker
