About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst/Power BI Developer to join our Finance Data Analytics team at Next Retail Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of our data visualisation and reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into Power BI solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualise key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and trends.
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI for analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Perform data cleansing, validation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.
  • Assist in the identification and implementation of improvements to existing Power BI solutions to enhance usability and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices to continuously improve reporting capabilities.
  • Provide support and training to end-users on how to navigate and utilise Power BI reports effectively.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI with experience in developing interactive dashboards and reports.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modelling techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in Retail is a plus.
