Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Robotics Assembly Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing prototype humanoid robots according to engineering specifications and assembly instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test prototype humanoid robots, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
  • Inspect and test individual components and subsystems for functionality, fit, and quality, and troubleshoot issues as they arise during assembly and testing processes.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on prototype robots, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting mechanical components, and troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, or software issues as needed.
  • Manage inventory of prototype components and materials, including receiving, storing, and organizing parts and supplies, and assist in sourcing and procurement activities as needed.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to provide feedback on prototype performance and suggest design improvements, and communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow and coordination on the shop floor.
Requirements
  • Mechanical Assembly: Proficiency in mechanical assembly techniques and procedures, with experience in assembling complex mechanical systems and components accurately and efficiently.
  • Electrical and Electronic Skills: Basic understanding of electrical and electronic components and circuits, with the ability to perform basic electrical wiring, soldering, and troubleshooting tasks as needed for prototype assembly and testing.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
