Job Opportunity

Design and Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design and development test work on current and future products
  • Deliver cost-effective solutions and ensure project schedules are met
  • Collaborate with internal and external suppliers and customers
  • Champion innovative and efficient methods of test and validation
  • Participate in technical design reviews and support intellectual property activities

Requirements:

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of five years design, development, and/or project engineering experience, preferably in an automotive environment
  • Working knowledge of CAD, preferably Pro-Engineer Creo 2
  • Practical experience of test methodology and test procedures
  • Understanding of materials and stress/strain theory and FE Analysis
