We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our team at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the management of the Management Accounting Team and ensuring the effective operation of the Trust's budgetary control systems.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Trust's monthly budget reporting cycle through the General Ledger, ensuring accurate and timely budgetary control information is circulated to all budget holders.
- Produce financial monitoring reports to Boards and external regulatory bodies, providing insightful analysis and recommendations for improvement.
- Support the Head of Reporting in the production of financial reports to the Executive Team, Trust Board, and Monitor, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Develop and implement IT solutions for Trust-wide reporting, consistently reviewing and updating systems to meet evolving business needs.
- Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values.
- Professional qualification in accountancy (CIMA, ACA, CIPFA, ACCA).
- A minimum of one year's post-qualification experience.
- Expert knowledge gained through specialist training or experience, with evidence of maintaining and developing technical accounting expertise.
- Successful experience of managing teams, including leading management accounting teams.
- Experience of managing budgetary control systems in large and complex organisations.
- Leadership qualities and influencing skills, including the ability to work in a professional and positive manner, meet challenging deadlines, and challenge effectively while maintaining relationships.
