Job Title: Production Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to join our team at CV Technical. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Health and Safety: Promote and manage a health and safety culture across sites, ensuring all activities comply with regulations and guidelines.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all products meet agreed quality standards.
  • Efficiency and Productivity: Ensure the site is running at maximum efficiency and achieving production plans.
  • Financial Management: Ensure the site is running in line with budget requirements and targets.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work with departments to drive down costs and improve quality.
  • Employee Engagement: Maintain a high level of employee motivation by working closely with employees to develop a communicative team.
  • Project Management: Lead and champion projects to improve site performance and employee engagement.
  • Reporting: Create and present reports detailing site performance.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Lead and champion projects to resolve quality issues.
  • HR and Administration: Maintain T&A records, manage absence, and ensure material stocks are used effectively.
  • Compliance: Maintain manufacturing compliance to standards.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience as a leader or manager leading a team focused on manual processes.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with company policies, legal guidelines, and health and safety regulations. Good knowledge of IT systems. Knowledge of GRP manufacturing process preferred.
  • Qualifications: ILM level 3 in Leadership and Management. COSHH and risk assessment trained.
