About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SHEQ Advisor to join our client's team in Chatham. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for promoting a health and safety conscious working environment, maintaining accreditations, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety policies, conduct risk assessments, and produce method statements to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Investigate incidents and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation for all H&S processes.
  • Implement and maintain quality systems, conduct audits, and address customer feedback to ensure high service standards.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and stakeholders, and facilitate SHEQ communication within the company.
  • Monitor industry trends and lead initiatives to enhance safety, environmental performance, and quality.
Requirements
  • IOSH certification is essential.
  • Results-focused and willing to advance their career to management level.
  • Knowledge of SHEQ regulations and experience producing RAMS.
  • Experience in upholding and auditing ISO, Constructionline, CHAS, and Safecontractor.
  • Willing to travel to site to complete audits.
