Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Building Safety Manager to join our client's team in London. As a Building Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe management and maintenance of high-risk and complex buildings within the scope of legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with building safety legislation and regulations.
- Manage and maintain building safety cases.
- Work with the Competency Framework for Building Safety Managers.
- Provide residents and stakeholders with a clear route to raise building or safety concerns.
- Oversee the implementation of corrective actions from fire risk assessments and audits.
- Manage on-site data and premise information boxes.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory developments and best practices.
- Work collaboratively with the compliance and asset team.
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for a Building Safety Manager with:
Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to compile detailed reports and present them to senior colleagues.Extensive knowledge of fire safety legislation and guidance.Ability to manage team members, contractors, and consultants.Maintaining compliancy by ensuring projects are completed in line with relevant legislation and regulations.Full UK clean driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.NEBOSH Fire Safety or equivalent.CIOB Level 6 Diploma in Building Safety Management (desirable).What's on Offer
