We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Living Space Responsive Maintenance team in the West Lancashire area. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing maintenance teams and projects, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results within budget and time.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in the social housing sector, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities presented by this field. They will be able to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners to ensure successful project delivery.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of maintenance professionals to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Developing and implementing operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction
- Managing contracts and ensuring compliance with company governance and regulatory requirements
- Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their expectations
- Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing corrective actions as needed
The successful candidate will be a strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to motivate and inspire their team to deliver outstanding results. They will have a proactive approach to risk management and value-add, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
We are particularly keen to hear from experienced Ops Managers with a repairs/planned background and a track record of success in the social housing sector.
