We are seeking a Safety and Environmental Professional to join our team as a Health and Safety Advisor. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting continuous improvement, driving compliance, and providing expert advice on legislation and policies.
You will influence teams to deliver top-tier SHEQ compliance, ensure risk assessments are up-to-date, and implement action plans to minimize risks. You will also develop and manage the SHEQ on-boarding program for all employees, contractors, and visitors, train and coach staff to ensure everyone contributes to SHEQ standards in their areas.
The ideal candidate will have a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent qualification, at least 2 years' experience in Health & Safety, and expertise in ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9000 standards. You must be a strong communicator with excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and report writing skills.
The estimated salary for this position is £33,000 per annum, based on industry standards. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.00 am - 4.30 pm. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
