Job Title: Quality Coordinator

Reports to: AM Shift Lead & Ops Support Team

Job Type: Rolling temporary contract

Salary: £12.00 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Coordinator to join our team at Pertemps. As a Quality Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and for supervising a small team of quality checkers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and populate Quality Inspection Reports (QIRs)
  • Supervise a small team of quality checkers
  • Complete quality checks alongside your team
  • Liaise with internal staff and customers to ensure checks are completed to customer requirements and to time constraints
  • Populate Excel spreadsheets when checks are completed
  • Send updates to management and customers on timings and other relevant information
  • Keep the work area neat and tidy
  • Monitor consumables for tasks related to checks and ensure they are stocked at all times
  • Ensure your team complies with company policies and health and safety procedures
  • Assist with housekeeping duties

Requirements:

  • Strong time-keeping and attendance record
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential
  • A good understanding of Excel and Outlook
  • A basic knowledge of health and safety procedures
