At Zen Educate, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Teaching Assistant to work at a special needs school in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) struggles and those on the Autistic Spectrum (ASC). The school offers a dynamic and evolving environment where our team members can grow professionally.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 1:1 support to students with SEMH and ASC, implementing effective strategies to engage with students, and managing challenging behavior. Our ideal candidate will have experience working with special needs, either in a school setting, as a youth worker, or in a care environment. A calm and empathetic approach towards children is essential, as well as strong team player skills with the ability to follow instructions and attainment goals.
