Sales Executive Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Sales Executive to join our team at Meridian Business Support Careers. This is a full-time, office-based position with a salary in the region of £30,000-40,000 depending on level of experience, plus an annual performance-based bonus.

The ideal candidate will have a strong, successful history in telesales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience managing their own accounts and consistently hitting sales targets. They will also have experience in new business development, including cold calling, and the ability to think outside the box to build strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities will include spending 2 hours a day contacting clients by phone, handling their own prospects life cycle from selling to completion, and managing all sales administration tasks. Initially, the candidate will work with approximately 30% existing clients and 70% new business, building their client base in their area.

Key skills and qualifications include:
  • Minimum of 3 years in a telesales role, managing own accounts and consistently hitting sales targets
  • Experience of new business development, including cold calling
  • Ability to think outside the box and build strong relationships with clients
