Job Opportunity:
Nelsons Solicitors is seeking a skilled Learning & Development Specialist to join their People & Culture team on a fixed-term basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs, facilitating workshops, and evaluating training effectiveness.

About the Role:
This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Learning & Development Specialist with HR expertise to cover maternity leave. The role will involve collaborating with managers and employees to identify skill gaps, creating engaging training materials, and leading interactive sessions on soft skills and technical training.

Responsibilities:
* Identify learning needs and assess skill gaps* Design and deliver training programs tailored to the workforce's needs* Facilitate workshops on soft skills, technical training, and leadership development* Support onboarding and enhance the employee experience* Evaluate training effectiveness and report on outcomes* Collaborate with the People & Culture team to integrate L&D strategies with talent management and performance appraisals

About You:
The ideal candidate will have experience working in professional services and possess a strong influencing style with excellent communication skills. A good understanding of commercial drivers and ability to work in ambiguous environments are essential. The successful candidate will also have a CIPD qualification (or working towards it) and experience managing end-to-end Employee Relations cases up to dismissal.

What We Offer:
Nelsons Solicitors offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a fantastic opportunity to develop your L&D and HR skills in a regional leading law firm.
