We are seeking a Youth Care Specialist to join our residential staff team at one of our children's homes in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.


Your primary responsibility will be to provide stability, guidance, and support to vulnerable young people, empowering them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential in a trauma-informed setting.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, fostering a sense of security and trust
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and supportive living environment that promotes emotional growth and development
  • Support young people in achieving their goals and aspirations, through education, training, and leisure activities
  • Promote healthy lifestyles and well-being, including physical activity and healthy eating

Requirements:



  • Relevant qualifications or experience in childcare or youth work
  • Commitment to working a shift pattern, including sleep-in duties and overtime
  • Full UK driving license (desirable)
