Site Maintenance Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a Site Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Wise Employment Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the general tidiness and cleanliness of our biomass plant site to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and conduct repairs as needed to ensure equipment and machinery are in optimal condition.
- Collaborate with Plant Operators and provide support when necessary, assisting with boiler cleans and responding to alarms in a responsible and timely manner.
- Operate and maintain biomass processing equipment, including baling machines, shaving machines, and drying products.
- Perform blade changes and sharpening using specialized machinery.
- Load biomass materials onto the shaving machine and fill the walking floor with biomass materials.
- Check and ensure the moisture content of processed biomass products meets quality standards.
Essential Requirements
- 2 years of forklift experience (required) - must hold a valid forklift license.
- Manual handling and materials handling practical experience.
