Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic client in Gloucester. The ideal candidate will have a time-served apprenticeship or equivalent (minimum NVQ Level 3 Engineering) and practical experience in a food or FMCG/packaging industry environment.

The role involves performing reactive and planned maintenance in a manufacturing environment, focusing on high-speed food processing, production, and packaging machinery. This includes troubleshooting and repairing industrial plant equipment, site services, and conveyors, drives, shafts, pumps, and compressors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have strong PLC troubleshooting skills, be comfortable with large mechanical work, including fault finding and repair, and have the ability to perform both electrical and mechanical fault finding.

Experience with industrial mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, gearboxes, and familiarity with fillers, labellers, palletisers, sealers, and forming machines are essential.

Shift Patterns and Commute:

The position requires working 2Days/2Nights shifts. The location is commutable from Tewkesbury, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud, Dursley.
